In 2002, Brunel acquired Carltech. This strengthened Brunel's market position in Texas, and with many of the major oil industry contractors based there.Brunel Resources is a highly competent design, engineering and IT manpower contracting agency.
The company began its operations in 1987 providing drafting (CAD), design and engineering contract employment services. In addition Carltech also provided administration and technical support personnel including technical writers, translators, expeditors, buyers, schedulers, cost estimators, and material controllers.
In 1989, Carltech expanded its services to include information technology (I.T.) support. This involved the provision of programmers, analysts, PC technicians, network and help desk support, software/hardware engineers and many other I.T. disciplines.
By 1997, Carltech had developed its client base to the level of filling in excess of 300 assignments annually, the majority of which were long-term.
